Linkedin – How to make your profile public for more visibility

Many people create their initial LinkedIn profile not thinking about their personal brand or how the social network can increase their visibility.

One of the first things I ask a workgroup to do is check this one setting on LinkedIn. NOTHING you do will have any benefit if you are hidden from the MILLIONS of people on Linkedin.

1. The first step is to open LinkedIn and click on ME

2. Click Settings & Privacy

3. Scroll down and click Profile viewing options

Step 3 image

4. Scroll down and click to show full profile

Step 4 image

5. Scroll up and that’s it. You’re done.
